Fair-skinned beauty and wife of billionaire, Alhaji Rasaq Okoya, Chief Folashade Okoya, added another feather to her cap when she was conferred with Doctor of Science, D. Sc (Honorary Causa) in Business Management and Corporate Leadership by the Senate of the European American University on Saturday, 23rd August, 2014, at the University of Lagos.
Folashade is the Deputy Managing Director, Eleganza City Industry Ltd, and was born on the 25th April, 1977. A graduate of Sociology from the University of Lagos, Shade is also the Managing Director of Eleganza Fashion Products Limited, as well as a member of the Board of Eleganza Group, and RAO Investment Property Company Limited.
Shade who is blessed with four children also studied at the Lagos State Polytechnic where she obtained an OND in Banking and Finance.
Other personalities awarded honourary doctorates include Lt. Gen. Oladipo Diya (Rtd), Folashade Tinubu Ojo, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, Mr. Ishaya Musa Diwa, Mrs. Obonganwan Grace Ekong, Dr. Mrs. Elemo Gloria Nwakaegho, Mrs. Sally Mbanefo, Hon. Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi, amongst others.
