Wizkid becomes the first Nigerian artiste to have the highest number of followers on Twitter


Wizkid has blazed the trail once again by becoming the first Nigerian artiste to have the highest number of followers on Twitter.

He reached the feat on February 19, 2014.

The act now holds the record of the most popular Nigerian artiste on twitter with approximately 1,000,245 followers ahead of artistes such as D’banj who has 816 thousand followers, Don Jazzy who has 719 thousand, 2face Idibia who has 686 thousand followers and Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji who can boast of 543 thousand followers as the time of this report.
