Another National Conference Delegate, Emir of Gombe, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Usman Shehu Abubakar is dead.The late first-class monarch, whose death was announced tonight, assumed the throne in the mid-1980s.
He will be remembered for forming the main committee to co-ordinate the activities of the demand for the creation of Gombe State.
A retired Permanent Secretary, he was until his death the Chairman of Gombe State Council of Emirs and Chiefs.
