Trouble In Super Eagles’ Camp As Players Demand N12.2m Appearance Fee Like Their Ghanaian Counterparts
The World Cup is getting dramatic with big countries losing to smaller countries, and players proving that they are far better than others when it comes to the country commitment.
Nigeria is ready to play its first match but all is not well because the Super Eagles players are demanding for N12.2m appearance fee paid to each just like Ghanaian counterparts by the Ghana Football Association.
They also want to be removed from their current hotel because it makes them look like prisoners due to the fact that the hotel is like a deserted area.
Senate President David Mark who visited them had appealed to the coaches and the players to put aside anything that would constitute a distraction to them in the World Cup and focused on winning.
Even the Sports Minister, Dr Tammy Danagogo had asked them to make the country proud.
Nigeria will earn over $9 million about (N1.4b) or qualification and participation in the first round of the Brazil World Cup.
