Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known by his stage name 2face Idibia, has revealed how much he lost during the 2015 elections in Nigeria.
The Hypertek boss revealed that he lost a total sum of N114m ($570,000) for refusing to perform at political concerts.
The BET Award winner also revealed that he turned down an offer to contest for a seat at the House of Representatives during the last general elections in Nigeria.
Idibia’s decision was due to the launch of his non-governmental organisation initiative themed: ‘Vote Not Fight Campaign.’
The campaign which is an initiative took the music star on regional tours and grassroots engagements across the country.
2Face has so far received one MTV Europe Music Award, one World Music Award, five Headies Awards (Hip-hop award), four Channel O Music Video Awards and one BET award for his musical work, four MTV Africa Music Awards, one MOBO award, one KORA award, and numerous additional nominations.
