Outgoing Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi turned 50 yesterday and some of his friends threw him a surprised birthday party.

Amaechi however used the occasion to commission some projects in the state and was commissioned by plateau Governor-elect, Rt. Hon Lalong 

APC spokesman, Lai Mohammed, Ex-Ondo Gov Fayemi, Kaduna state Governor elect, Nasir El Rufai, Hon Abike Dabiri, Senator Magnus Abe and others were some of the special guest at the event.
