Sean "Diddy" Combs's arrest at UCLA on Monday just got more serious, but the rapper is firing back.
The music mogul, 45, has now been charged
with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making
terrorist threats, and one count of battery. Diddy supposedly assaulted
one of his son's football coaches, Sal Alosi, with a kettlebell
yesterday afternoon.
Combs reportedly confronted one of the assistant coaches who yelled at his 21-year-old son Justin — who is a redshirt junior defensive back on the school's football team — during practice. Diddy was released from jail late Monday night.A rep for the star issued the following statement on Tuesday to The Insider With Yahoo:"The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate. What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed."
A source also tells The Insider, "Coach Sal Alosi verbally and psychologically abused Justin and targeted him for three years." Apparently Alosi, who was suspended and then resigned as a coach for the New York Jets in 2011, "has a pattern of very bad behavior." According to the source, Diddy and his son "drove to the university together, with no entourage to talk to the coach as a parent."
It's unclear what exactly happened after that.

UCLA head football coach Jim Mora had this to say regarding the situation: "I'm thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time."
As for Justin, he didn't have a problem with his dad's actions. He shared the below pic on Instagram
captioned: "I thank God for having a father that's always there for
me.. Love you pops!" Diddy reposted the photo and wrote: "#FAMILY
FIRST."
