The Vice Chancellor of the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko in Ondo State, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun urged the President, Muhammadu Buhari to invest in Agriculture in order to ensure food security in the country rather tan spending money on food importation.

He said this at the Humboldt International Conference held at the Osun State University (OSU) Oshogbo.

He also went further by saying there are lots of challenges facing the country in terms of Agriculture despite being one of the most important sector in the country but not enough attention is being given to that by the Government.
