In the early hours of Friday
morning a fire outbreak occurred in the residence of the Senate
President, Olubukola Saraki in Maitama Area of Abuja but no one has been
confirmed injured.
Information was gathered that
some residents leaving in that area raised an alarm when they noticed a
heavy smoke coming from the gymnasium of the senate president.
The attention of the Officials of
fire service were immediately drawn to the incident around 10:05am as
they horridly mobilize themselves there to put the fire out.
The incident which was said to
have happened due to an electric spark that sprang up hfrom one of the
air conditioners in the gymnasium of his principal. This was confirmed
by, the Special Adviser to the Senate President on Media and Publicity,
Mr Yusuph Olaniyonu.
He also explained that the Senate
President,OLubukola Saraki had been duly informed of the incident,
adding that nobody was injured during the process
